Back at it

After the drama of exchanging my foreign licence for a British one, I now have the pleasure of using my very own car to explore the UK by road. I can now experience the joy of driving at a time and duration of my own choosing, in a car of my own choosing. No more wondering if I'll get a Fiat Punto.

Now that I have my own car, and I've had the pleasure of taking it out to some very fine roads, my interest in Raadius has been renewed. I thought some of my site's driving techniques were a little to elementary for many of my readers, but after going into a blind left-hand sweeper, and seeing someone enthusiastically coming the other way using a far too much of my half of the road (and having to adjust his line to avoid hitting me) I see that there might be a lot of Raadius visitors who could take some of the driving techniques to heart.

June 25 sees me travelling to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed for the first time, and I look forward to seeing what other British petrolheads get up to. It also gives me plenty of content with which to update the site! There's still so much to do, but since anything worth doing is worth doing properly, there's nothing for it, except to crack on.

My own BMW, challenging/fun roads, and a nation full of petrol heads... the Raadius project is definitely something worth doing. And doing well.
