My first trackday has turned out to be the most thrilling experience of my life. I had so much fun pushing myself and the car as far as I could, and putting a lot of the driving techniques I've used on the road to the real test. Many of them not only helped me be quicker out there, but they kept me on the track on the several occasions I exceeded either my limits or the car's. I feel more confident about my abilities, and I had a chance to cast off the leash without fear of speeding fines or points on my licence.

The icing on the cake was great camaraderie between participants and staff, efficient marshals, and a well-organised event. I'm hooked, and I can't wait to go again.
 

The only casualties: cracked foglamp, slightly spongy brakes
